The NFC reader connects to any electromagnetic lock or existing intercom system. Each NFC reader acts as a signal extender, allowing them to connect with each other and create a wireless network for other smart building devices.
Users can open doors the traditional way, using a fob, or easily add the key to their Apple Wallet by simply touching the reader with their smartphone. They can then use their phone as a fob without any additional mobile apps.
The intercom function is handled through the native Apple/Google Home app or by scanning a QR code for a regular phone call.
